Vintage original 11 x 14 in. US title lobby card from the teens WWI-themed silent film comedy short, IMPROPAGANDA, released in 1919 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Saul Harrison.

Billed as "James Montgomery Flagg's Satirical Comedy," the design features a close shot of co-stars Olin Howard (as a German-type military officer) and Eleanor Masters, who looks frightened. It was printed on a very thin paper stock, which is something Paramount experimented with during 1919. It is unrestored in very good- condition.

Impropaganda was based on a screen story by James Montgomery Flagg and produced by Town & Country Films, Inc.

*"James Montgomery Flagg (June 18, 1877 – May 27, 1960) was an American artist, comics artist and illustrator. He worked in media ranging from fine art painting to cartooning, but is best remembered for his political posters, particularly his 1917 poster of Uncle Sam created for United States Army recruitment during World War I."
