Vintage original 11 x 14 in. US lobby card from the 1920s silent film serial, THE MOON RIDERS, releaesd in 1920 by the Universal Film Manufacturing Company and directed by B. Reeves Eason, Albert Russell, and Theodore Wharton.

 

This 18-chapter western serial tells of the struggle of a group of homesteaders against an unscrupulous band that desires to profit through obsolete Spanish land grants.

 

This lobby card is from the Second Episode, The Masked Marauders, and depicts its star, Art Acord (as Buck Ravelle, a Ranger), standing at the opening of a cave with both guns drawn. It is unrestored in fine- condition.
