Vintage original 20 x 30 in. British double crown poster from the 1920s silent film drama, ORPHANS OF THE STORM, released in 1921 by United Artists and directed by D.W. Griffith.
 
The design is similar to that of the film's best (in our opinion) US one-sheet poster and depicts Henriette Girard (Lillian Gish) sewing while talking with her blind sister, Louise (Dorothy Gish), with an image of the dashing Chevalier de Vaudrey (Joseph Schildkraut) watching nearby. This poster is a stone lithograph, which produces rich, bold colors and very fine details. It has been professionally linen-backed in fine+ condition with only minimal light restoration.
